Information we collect
- Name, verified email address and account identifiers.
- Subscription products, entitlement status, billing period, renewal status and invoice metadata.
- Product-level email and alert preferences.
- Website usage, security, service and diagnostic information needed to protect accounts and operate the platform.
- Communications and support requests sent to Water Intelligence Brief.
Payment-card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by Water Intelligence Brief.
Why we collect it
- To create, verify and secure reader accounts.
- To provide the intelligence products a subscriber has purchased.
- To administer subscriptions, invoices, renewals and cancellations.
- To send requested service communications and optional product emails.
- To protect the platform, investigate misuse and maintain service reliability.
- To comply with legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
Marketing email is optional and is not a condition of online access.
When information is required
Some information, including a verified email address and billing information, is required to create an account or purchase a subscription. Without it, Water Intelligence Brief may be unable to provide account access, process payment or deliver the selected service.
Service providers and international processing
Water Intelligence Brief uses specialist service providers for identity, payment processing, hosting, database services and optional email delivery. These providers process personal information only as required to provide their services and may process it in countries outside the reader's location under their contractual and security safeguards.
Sharing personal information
Personal information may be shared with approved service providers, professional advisers, regulators or public authorities where necessary to operate the service, protect legal rights or comply with law. Water Intelligence Brief does not sell personal information.
Retention
